Puttanesca, PASTA SAUCE with TAGGIESCHE OLIVES

In 2018, our Conte-Cardillo family, whose name “Cardillu” means “Goldfinch” in Italian began a heartfelt journey of recreating and sharing our cherished recipes from our home in the Cotswolds. This culinary celebration blends the rich traditions of our Italian heritage with the exceptional local produce of the Cotswolds, aiming to capture the vibrant and authentic flavours of Italy—creating food that truly SINGS of Italy!

Our Grandmother, Nonna Pippi, recommends serving  her punchy Puttanesca sauce gently heated in a little olive oil, then stirred through any robust pasta shape. Try with a decadent dollop of Mascarpone and a crisp, green leaf salad on the side.
